The funny thing about my industry is that SEO is like painting a house. I can paint your house today, but in a number of years it's not going to look new anymore. SEO is the same way: I can optimize your website once now, but over time the introduction of new competitors, new strategies and new rules into the marketplace will start to make that optimization fade.
Taking a lesson from the real estate industry, I have decided to rent this page because it creates a fair situation for both of us: I get paid for my hard work, but because I have an interest in maintaining the site's placement in search engines, I will work hard in the future to maintain the level of traffic.
